Introduction
The HERCULES GS415B PLUS is a high-quality guitar stand designed to securely hold your instrument. It features the innovative Auto Grab System (AGS) yoke, which automatically secures the instrument's neck when placed on the stand. This model includes an updated AGS mechanism and the NINA (Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment) attachment, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of neck widths from 28mm to 52mm. The Instant Height Adjustment Clutch provides easy and precise height adjustments, while its low-profile design helps prevent damage during transport and storage. All contact points are protected with Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber to safeguard your instrument's finish.

Key Features
- Auto Grab System (AGS) Yoke: Automatically locks the instrument in place when the neck is rested on the yoke.
- NINA (Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment): Included attachment for securing instruments with narrower necks (28mm-52mm).
- Instant Height Adjustment Clutch: Allows for quick and easy height adjustments with a simple grip.
- Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) Rubber: Protects the instrument's finish at all contact points.
- Foldable Design: The stand can be folded for compact storage and transport.
- Adjustable Height: From 960mm to 1,150mm.
- Load Capacity: Supports instruments up to 15 kg (33 lbs).
- Base Radius: 320mm for stable support.
- Lightweight: Weighs approximately 2 kg (4.4 lbs).
Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Stand: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the main stand assembly and the NINA attachment.
- Unfold the Legs: Place the stand on a flat, stable surface. Gently pull the legs outwards until they are fully extended and locked into position. Ensure the stand is stable and does not wobble.
- Adjust Height: Grip the Instant Height Adjustment Clutch located on the main shaft. While holding the clutch, raise or lower the upper shaft to your desired height. Release the clutch to lock the height in place. Ensure the height is appropriate for your instrument, allowing the body to rest securely on the lower support arms without touching the floor.
- Install NINA (for narrow necks): If your instrument has a neck width between 28mm and 52mm (e.g., banjo, mandolin, ukulele), install the NINA attachment.

To install, simply snap the NINA attachment onto the AGS yoke arms. Ensure it is firmly seated. This will reduce the opening of the AGS yoke to securely hold narrower instrument necks.
Operating Instructions
- Placing the Instrument: Hold your instrument by the neck. Gently lower the instrument's neck into the AGS yoke. As the weight of the instrument presses down, the AGS arms will automatically close around the neck, securing it in place. Ensure the instrument's body rests on the lower support arms.
- Removing the Instrument: Lift the instrument straight up from the AGS yoke. The AGS arms will automatically open as the weight is removed, allowing you to retrieve your instrument.
- Using with Narrow Neck Instruments: If you have installed the NINA attachment, place and remove the instrument as described above. The NINA attachment ensures a snug fit for narrower necks.
- Folding for Storage/Transport: To fold the stand, first remove any instrument. Grip the Instant Height Adjustment Clutch and fully lower the upper shaft. Then, press the leg release button (if present, or simply push the legs together if it's a friction-based fold) and fold the legs inwards. The AGS yoke can also be folded down for a more compact form.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the stand regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- SFF Rubber Care: Periodically inspect the Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber at contact points for wear or damage. Ensure it is clean and free of debris that could scratch your instrument.
- Joints and Mechanisms: Check all joints, screws, and the AGS mechanism for proper function and tightness. Do not overtighten screws.
- Storage: When not in use, store the stand in a clean, dry environment, away from extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. Folding the stand can help protect its components.
Troubleshooting
- Stand Wobbles: Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked. Check that the stand is placed on a flat, even surface.
- AGS Yoke Not Engaging/Disengaging:
- Not engaging: Ensure the instrument's weight is fully applied to the yoke. Check for any obstructions in the mechanism.
- Not disengaging: Lift the instrument straight up with sufficient force to release the mechanism. Ensure no foreign objects are jamming the arms.
- Height Adjustment Clutch Sticks: Clean the clutch mechanism and shaft to remove any dirt or grime. Ensure you are gripping the clutch firmly when adjusting.
- Instrument Not Secure with NINA: Double-check that the NINA attachment is correctly installed and fully seated on the AGS yoke. Ensure your instrument's neck width falls within the 28mm-52mm range for NINA.
