Setup and Installation

Speaker Mounting

The N5 Marine speakers feature a quick-mounting system designed for ease of installation. They can be mounted in approximately 60 seconds using a simple clamp mechanism. After hand-tightening the handle, use a 13mm nut wrench to secure the grip firmly.

Wiring Connections

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Connectivity

The NBC Bluetooth controller allows for seamless wireless streaming from any A2DP Bluetooth-capable device (Apple, Android, Windows, Blackberry, etc.) directly to the HS4 amplifier. It also includes a 3.5mm AUX input for wired connections.

Audio Performance

The N5 Marine speakers feature a unique 3-inch passive radiator on the back of the pod. This design translates wasted energy from within the pod into low-frequency sound waves, providing a fuller sound experience and enhanced bass, even from a compact 5.25-inch speaker.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

• No Sound:

  • Ensure the volume on both the source device and the NBC controller is turned up.

• Distorted Sound:
  • Reduce the volume on the source device or the NBC controller.
  • Check speaker wiring for shorts or incorrect polarity.

• Bluetooth Disconnection:
  • Ensure the Bluetooth device is within range of the NBC controller.
  • Restart both the NBC controller and the Bluetooth device.
  • Clear previous Bluetooth pairings on your device and re-pair.
• Subwoofer Not Producing Bass:
  • Check the subwoofer's connection to the amplifier.
  • Adjust the amplifier's low-pass filter (LPF) and gain settings for the subwoofer channel.
  • Ensure the subwoofer is receiving power.
