6. Maintenance and Storage

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EB150, proper maintenance and storage are crucial.

  • Battery Type: The EB150 uses a Lithium Ion battery, known for its durability and long cycle life (2500+ life cycles).
  • Storage: For long-term storage, it is recommended to fully charge the product. Recharge the unit every 1 to 3 months to maintain battery health.
  • Protection: The unit features internal protection mechanisms to prevent damage from over-voltage or over-wattage. If the load exceeds 1200W, the unit will enter an error mode to protect its components.
  • Cooling: The unit is equipped with cooling fans to dissipate heat during operation. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your EB150.

  • Overload Protection: If the unit shuts down unexpectedly, it might be due to an overload. Reduce the connected load to below 1000W (or 1200W surge) and restart the unit.
  • Charging Issues: If the unit is not charging, ensure the charging cable is securely connected and the power source (wall outlet, solar panel, generator) is functioning correctly. For solar charging, verify that the solar panel voltage is within the 16-60V (or 68V) range.
  • Display Malfunction: If the LCD display is not showing correct readings or is unresponsive, try powering off and restarting the unit.
  • AC Output Frequency: The unit's AC output frequency (50Hz/60Hz) can be checked and changed. This typically requires unplugging the AC charger from the unit first. Refer to the detailed user manual for specific steps.
