1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your Drfeify Receiver Box. This sealed plastic box is designed to protect the receiver in your remote control car or boat model, ensuring its functionality in various environments. 2. Safety Information

• Always ensure the receiver box is securely closed before operating your RC model, especially in wet conditions.

3. Product Overview

The Drfeify Receiver Box is a compact, durable enclosure for your RC receiver. It consists of a main body, a lid, and securing screws. An Allen key is provided for assembly.

Please note that due to manufacturing variations, some units may feature different internal mounting posts (new type with integrated plastic posts or old type with brass standoffs). Both types offer the same protective function.

4. Setup

1. Open the Receiver Box: Use the provided Allen key to unscrew the two screws securing the lid to the main body of the receiver box. Carefully remove the lid.
2. Place the Receiver: Position your RC receiver inside the box. Ensure it fits snugly and does not interfere with the lid closure.
3. Route Wires (if necessary): If your receiver wires need to exit the box, you may need to create small, appropriately sized openings in the box for the wires. Ensure these openings are sealed after routing the wires to maintain the box's protective properties.
4. Close the Box: Align the lid with the main body and reinsert the screws. Tighten the screws using the Allen key until the lid is secure. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the plastic.
5. Mount the Box: Secure the assembled receiver box to your RC car or boat model using appropriate mounting hardware (not included). Ensure it is mounted in a location that minimizes exposure to direct impacts and excessive moisture.

5. Operating

Once properly installed, the Drfeify Receiver Box functions passively by enclosing and protecting your RC receiver. Its sealed design helps shield the receiver from environmental elements such as dust, dirt, and splashes, which can be encountered during RC model operation.

6. Maintenance

• Seal Inspection: Periodically inspect the seal between the lid and the main body for any cracks, tears, or signs of degradation. A compromised seal may reduce the box's protective capabilities.
• Screw Tightness: Check the tightness of the lid screws occasionally. Retighten if necessary, but avoid overtightening.

7. Troubleshooting

• Moisture Inside the Box: If moisture is found inside, check the lid's seal for damage or improper closure. Ensure any custom-made wire openings are adequately sealed.
• Difficulty Closing the Lid: Ensure the receiver and its wires are properly positioned and not obstructing the lid. Check for any debris along the sealing edges.
• Loose Mounting: If the receiver box feels loose after mounting, re-check the mounting hardware on your RC model.
