3. Assembly Instructions

The Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 Booster Seat requires minimal assembly. No tools are needed.

1. Remove Tray and Seat Back: Remove the tray from its storage slot underneath the seat. Turn the seat over and remove the seat back from underneath the base. The chair straps are also stored in this compartment.

2. Attach Seat Back: Place the seat back onto the top of the base. Ensure it clicks securely into place. Note: The seat back is not removable after initial installation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Booster Seat Mode (for use on dining chairs)

1. Positioning: Place the booster seat on a sturdy adult dining chair.
2. Securing to Chair: Use the adjustable straps to securely attach the booster to the adult chair. The bottom straps (22 inches) go around the seat of the adult chair, and the back strap (36 inches) goes around the backrest. Ensure all straps are pulled tight and the booster seat is stable.

3. Child Restraint: Place your child in the booster seat and fasten the 3-point harness. Adjust the straps snugly around your child to prevent them from climbing out.

4. Tray Usage: Slide the removable tray into the designated slots on the booster seat until it clicks into place. The tray is designed to hold plates up to 11 x 5 inches.

4.2. Floor Seat Mode

For use as a floor seat during playtime or when a dining chair is not available:

1. Placement: Place the booster seat directly on a flat, stable floor surface.
2. Child Restraint: Always use the 3-point harness to secure your child in the floor seat.
3. Tray Usage: The tray can be used in floor seat mode for snacks or toys.

4.3. Converting to Toddler Seat

As your child grows, the foam insert can be removed to provide more space, converting it into a toddler seat.

1. Remove Foam Insert: Gently pull the foam insert out of the main seat unit.
2. Continued Use: The seat can continue to be used as a booster or floor seat without the foam insert. Always use the harness for safety.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your booster seat.

• Tray: The removable BPA-free tray is dishwasher safe.
• Base and Foam Insert: Wipe the base and foam insert clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.

6. Storage

The compact design allows for easy storage.

• Tray Storage: The removable tray conveniently tucks away right underneath the booster seat itself when not in use.
