Operating Instructions

The Stauer Select Box Watch Winder operates automatically once powered on. There are no manual controls or settings to adjust.

  • Automatic Cycle: The winder is programmed to operate in a cycle of 1 hour of rotation followed by 3 hours of rest. This cycle repeats continuously as long as the unit is powered.
  • Direction of Rotation: The winder rotates in a single, consistent direction. This is suitable for most automatic watches.
  • Power On/Off: To turn the winder off, simply unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet. To turn it back on, plug the adapter back in.

Note: The winder is designed for optimal performance with automatic watches. Consult your watch's manufacturer specifications if you are unsure about its winding requirements.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:
    • Before cleaning, always unplug the watch winder from the power outlet.
    • Wipe the exterior of the winder with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
    • For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
    • Gently dust the interior with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Storage: If storing the winder for an extended period, unplug it and ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Handling: Handle the winder with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts, which could damage the internal mechanism or the exterior finish.
