Setup and Installation
Professional installation is recommended for this shower system to ensure correct plumbing connections and optimal performance. The Votamuta connectors are standard 1/2 NPT threads, compatible with copper, PVC, and PEX tubes, and do not require adapters.
Rough-in Valve Installation
The rough-in valve is a critical component for controlling water flow and temperature. It features brass construction and a ceramic valve core for durability. The pressure balance valve cartridge monitors water pressure to prevent scalding from sudden temperature changes.

Plumbing Connections
Refer to the plumbing diagram for correct water line connections and component placement. The system is designed for U.S. standard plumbing.

- Install the rough-in valve securely within the wall, ensuring it is level and at the correct depth.
- Connect the hot water inlet (G3/4") and cold water inlet (G3/4") to your main water supply lines.
- Connect the rain shower head outlet (NPT 1/2") and handheld shower outlet (NPT 1/2") to their respective pipes.
- Install the shower arm, rain shower head, handheld shower, and shower holder according to your desired configuration and the provided diagram.
- Attach the 1.5-meter shower hose to the handheld shower and the corresponding outlet.
- Once all connections are made, test for leaks before sealing the wall.
Operating Instructions
Your Votamuta Shower System features a two-function control panel for easy selection between the rain shower head and the handheld spray.

- Temperature Control: Use the main handle to adjust the water temperature. Rotate towards 'Hot' for warmer water and 'Cold' for cooler water. The pressure balance valve helps maintain a consistent temperature.
- Function Selection: Rotate the diverter knob on the control panel to switch between the 8-inch rain shower head and the handheld spray.
- Rain Shower Head: Provides an intensive rain shower experience with a water pressure of up to 2.5 GPM, covering the entire body.
- Handheld Spray: Offers targeted water flow, ideal for rinsing specific areas or cleaning the shower area.
Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your Votamuta Shower System.
- Cleaning the Finish: The brushed nickel finish is durable. Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for brushed nickel. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Shower Head Nozzles: The 8-inch rain shower head features easy-clean spray holes. Periodically wipe the silicone nozzles to remove mineral buildup and maintain optimal spray performance.
- General Inspection: Periodically check all connections for any signs of leaks. Ensure the shower hose is free from kinks.
- Winterization (if applicable): If installing in an outdoor or unheated environment subject to freezing temperatures, ensure the system is properly drained and winterized to prevent damage.
