1.2 How it Works

These combination cartridges utilize both a gas filter (activated carbon) and a particle filter within a plastic housing to effectively remove contaminants from inhaled air. The OV component targets organic vapors, while the P100 component filters at least 99.97% of airborne particles, including oil-based particulates.

4. Setup & Installation

4.1 Attaching the Cartridges

  1. Ensure the respirator mask is clean and free from damage.
  2. Align the indicator mark on the cartridge with the corresponding mark on the respirator mask's filter attachment point.
  3. Insert the cartridge into the attachment point.
  4. Turn the cartridge clockwise until it clicks securely into place. Do not overtighten.
  5. Repeat for the second cartridge.
  6. Perform a user seal check as described in your respirator mask's instruction manual before entering a contaminated area.

The cartridges themselves are not designed for cleaning. For cleaning the respirator mask, remove the cartridges first. Store unused cartridges in their original sealed packaging in a cool, dry place away from contaminants and direct sunlight. Ensure the storage area is free from extreme temperatures and humidity.
