Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation

3. Insert two (2) new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2. Attaching the Timer to the Faucet

Operating Instructions

The Orbit timer features a large digital display and a simple dial for programming. Rotate the dial to select a setting, then use the buttons to adjust values.

1. Set Clock

1. Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
2. The hour will flash. Use the + and - buttons to set the current hour (AM/PM).
3. Press the NEXT button to move to minutes.
4. Use + and - to set the current minutes.
5. Press NEXT to confirm.

2. Start Time

1. Turn the dial to START TIME.
2. Set the desired time for watering to begin using the + and - buttons for hour and minutes.
3. Press NEXT to confirm.

3. How Long (Watering Duration)

1. Turn the dial to HOW LONG.
2. Set the duration for each watering cycle from 1 to 360 minutes using the + and - buttons.
3. Press NEXT to confirm.

4. How Often (Watering Frequency)

1. Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
2. Set the frequency:
   • Every hour (for short, frequent watering)
   • Every 6, 12 hours
   • Every 1, 2, 3... up to 7 days
3. Use the + and - buttons to select the desired interval.
4. Press NEXT to confirm.

5. Auto/Manual Operation & Rain Delay

• AUTO: Turn the dial to AUTO/MANUAL. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.
• MANUAL: To manually water, turn the dial to AUTO/MANUAL, then press the MANUAL button. Use + and - to set a manual watering duration, then press ENTER to start. The timer will revert to AUTO after the manual cycle.
• RAIN DELAY: If rain is expected, you can pause your watering schedule. Turn the dial to AUTO/MANUAL, then press and hold the RAIN DELAY button. Use + and - to select a delay of 1 to 7 days. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay.

6. OFF

Turn the dial to OFF to stop all automatic and manual watering. The timer will remain off until the dial is moved to another setting.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement
