Setup
Follow these steps for proper installation of your string lights:
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the string and bulbs for any signs of damage.
- Plan Your Layout: Determine the desired path for your string lights. Consider using built-in hooks, guide wires, nails, or zip ties for secure installation. The T-shaped suspension wire design aids in stability.
- Install Bulbs: Gently screw each E17 LED Edison bulb into its respective socket. Ensure they are tightened sufficiently to make proper contact, but do not overtighten.
- Secure the Strand: Hang the string lights along your planned path. Utilize the integrated hanging loops or provided ties to secure the strand to your chosen anchors (e.g., pergolas, fences, walls).
- Connect Multiple Strands (Optional): If you are connecting multiple addlon string light strands, ensure the total wattage does not exceed the recommended limit. This model allows connection of up to 28 strands. Securely connect the male and female ends of the strands.
- Power Connection: Once the string lights are fully installed and all bulbs are in place, connect the power plug to a suitable outdoor-rated electrical outlet.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your addlon LED Outdoor String Lights:
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the bulbs and string with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Weather Resistance: These lights are designed to be weatherproof (IP65 rated), with robust insulation protecting against sun, rain, wind, and snow. However, for extreme weather conditions, consider temporarily taking them down to prevent potential damage.
- Bulb Replacement: If a bulb burns out, ensure the power is off before carefully unscrewing the old bulb and replacing it with a new E17 LED Edison bulb. A spare bulb is included in your package.
- Fuse Replacement: If the entire string fails to light up, check the fuse located in the plug. Disconnect power, open the fuse compartment, and replace the fuse with the provided spare if necessary.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your string lights, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lights do not turn on. | No power, loose connection, or blown fuse. | Check power outlet. Ensure plug is fully inserted. Inspect and replace fuse in the plug if blown. |
| Individual bulb not lighting up. | Loose bulb or faulty bulb. | Tighten the bulb by an additional 1-2 turns. If it still doesn't light, replace the bulb with a new one. |
