4.1. Mounting

  • The hood can be attached directly to an under-cabinet unit or fixed to a free wall using the anchors at the rear.
  • Ensure adequate clearance above the cooking surface as per local safety regulations.

4.2. Ducted (Extraction) Mode

In ducted mode, cooking fumes are expelled outside through an exhaust duct. The hood is pre-configured for this mode.

  • Connect the hood's air outlet (12 cm diameter) to an external ducting system.
  • Ensure the ducting is properly sealed to prevent air leaks.

4.3. Recirculating (Filtering) Mode

If external ducting is not possible, the hood can operate in recirculating mode. In this mode, air is filtered and returned to the kitchen.

  • An activated carbon filter (Faber code 112.0157.238) must be purchased and installed.
  • Refer to the carbon filter's instructions for proper installation.
  • The carbon filter removes odors and humidity from the air before it is recirculated.

Press the corresponding button to select the desired speed. Pressing the 'Off' button will turn off the fan.
