Safety Information
- Always assemble the bed frame on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage to the product or your floor.
- Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
- Do not use power tools for assembly as this may overtighten and damage the hardware or frame.
- Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children and pets to prevent choking hazards.
- This bed frame requires a box spring for proper mattress support and to meet the stated weight capacity. Using a mattress directly on the slats without a box spring may void the warranty and compromise structural integrity.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 800 lbs (362.87 kg).

Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires two adults. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface. Identify the Headboard, Side Rails, Footboard, Slats, and Hardware Pack.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Align the connection points on the side rails with the corresponding brackets on the headboard. Secure them using the provided bolts, washers, and nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Attach Side Rails to Footboard: Repeat the process from step 2 to attach the other end of the side rails to the footboard. Ensure all connections are aligned.
- Install Center Support Beam(s) and Legs: If your model includes a center support beam, attach it to the designated points on the headboard and footboard, or to the side rails, following the specific instructions in your hardware pack. Attach any support legs to the center beam or slats as indicated.
- Place and Secure Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the width of the bed frame, evenly spaced. Secure them to the side rails using the pre-drilled holes and screws provided. Ensure all slats are firmly attached.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws using the provided Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.

- Mattress Placement: Carefully place your twin-sized mattress on top of the box spring.
- Regular Use: The bed frame is designed for daily use. Avoid standing or jumping on the bed to prevent damage.

Maintenance
To keep your Modway Amira bed frame in optimal condition:
- Cleaning: For the upholstered fabric, spot clean with a suitable upholstery cleaner. Test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area first. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (every 3-6 months) check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fabric fading.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed frame feels wobbly or unstable | Loose hardware connections. | Check and tighten all bolts and screws. |
| Squeaking noises | Loose connections or friction between parts. | Re-tighten all hardware. Ensure slats are properly seated and secured. Apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., paraffin wax) to contact points if necessary. |
| Mattress sags or feels unsupported | Missing or damaged box spring. Slats are not properly installed or damaged. | Ensure a box spring is used. Verify all slats are correctly placed and secured. Replace any damaged slats. |
