Follow these steps for proper installation. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

Pre-Installation Checklist:

  • Ensure power is OFF at the main circuit breaker.
  • Verify that the installation location is suitable for a recessed light fixture.
  • Confirm the ceiling material can support the fixture.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Ceiling Opening: Using a suitable tool, cut a round hole in the ceiling with a diameter of 205mm for the 18W model. Refer to the dimensions image in Section 3 for precise measurements.
  2. Attach Mounting Springs: Secure the two provided mounting springs to the designated slots on the back of the LED panel light.
  3. Connect Wiring: Connect the LED driver to the household electrical wiring (AC 85-265V). Ensure proper polarity and secure connections. The light fixture does not include a ground wire; adhere to local electrical codes for safe installation.
  4. Connect Light to Driver: Plug the connector from the LED panel light into the output connector of the LED driver.
  5. Insert Light Fixture: Fold the mounting springs upwards and carefully push the LED panel light into the prepared ceiling opening. The springs will hold the fixture securely in place.
