The Oster® Precise Blend 700 is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for blending, crushing, pureeing, chopping, dicing, slicing, and mincing. It features a powerful motor, a durable glass blending jar, and a convenient food chopper attachment.

Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Setup

Assembling the Blender:

1. Ensure the blender base is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Place the sealing ring onto the blade assembly.
3. Place the blade assembly into the bottom opening of the 6-cup glass jar.
4. Screw the bottom cap onto the jar, twisting clockwise until securely tightened.
5. Place the assembled jar onto the blender base, ensuring it is seated firmly.
6. Place the lid onto the glass jar, ensuring the filler cap is securely in place.

Assembling the Food Chopper:

1. Ensure the blender base is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Place the stainless steel s-blade onto the center post inside the 3-cup food chopper jar.
3. Add ingredients to the food chopper jar. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
4. Place the food chopper lid onto the jar, aligning the tabs and twisting to lock.
5. Place the assembled food chopper onto the blender base, ensuring it is seated firmly.

Operating Instructions

Using the Blender:

1. Ensure the blender is properly assembled and plugged into a 220 Volt electrical outlet.
2. Add ingredients to the 6-cup glass jar. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, then hard ingredients, and finally ice. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
3. Securely place the lid with the filler cap on the jar.
4. Select the desired speed from the 12 available settings. The blender starts with 700 power watts and blends continuously at 500 watts.
5. For short bursts of power, use the "Pulse" setting.
6. To add ingredients during blending, remove the 2-ounce filler cap and pour through the opening. Replace the cap immediately.
7. Once blending is complete, turn the blender off and unplug it before removing the jar.

Using the Food Chopper:

1. Ensure the food chopper is properly assembled and placed on the blender base, and the blender is plugged in.
2. Add ingredients to the 3-cup food chopper jar. Do not overfill.
3. Securely place the food chopper lid on the jar.
4. Use the "Pulse" setting or a low speed for chopping. Process in short bursts until desired consistency is achieved.
5. Once chopping is complete, turn the blender off and unplug it before removing the food chopper attachment.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• Blender Jar and Food Chopper Jar: The 6-cup Boroclass glass jar and the 3-cup food chopper jar are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. They can also be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Blades and Sealing Ring: Carefully remove the blade assembly and sealing ring. Wash them with warm, soapy water. Use caution as blades are sharp. Rinse thoroughly.
• Blender Base: Wipe the blender base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the blender base in water or any other liquid.
• Storage: Store the assembled blender or food chopper in a dry place.
