Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your SILVERCREST Compact Bluetooth Stereo System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.

1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed in the package contents are present.

1.2 Connecting Power

Connect the power cable to the stereo system and then to a suitable wall outlet. The system will enter standby mode.

1.3 Connecting the FM Antenna

Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM antenna jack on the rear of the unit. Extend the antenna fully for optimal radio reception.

1.4 Initial Power On

Press the Power button on the unit or the remote control to turn on the system. The display will illuminate.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Basic Controls

The system can be operated using the controls on the front panel or the included remote control.

2.2 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button on the unit or remote control to switch between available modes: FM Radio, CD Player, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX IN.

2.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Select FM Radio mode.
  2. Use the TUNE +/- buttons to manually tune to a station or press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.
  3. Press PRESET to save or recall favorite stations.

2.4 CD Player Operation

  1. Select CD Player mode.
  2. Insert an audio CD or MP3 CD into the slot. The system will automatically begin playback.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP +/- buttons for control.
  4. The system supports random playback and repeat functions. Refer to the remote control for these specific buttons.

2.5 Bluetooth Music Streaming

  1. Select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "PAIRING" or a similar indicator.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "SILVERCREST BKS" or similar.
  3. Select the device to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device to the stereo system.

2.6 USB MP3 Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB 2.0 port.
  2. Select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP +/- buttons for control.

2.7 AUX IN Connection

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the AUX IN jack using the supplied AUX cable.
  2. Select AUX IN mode.
  3. Control playback from your external device.

2.8 Alarm Clock Function

The system features an alarm clock with options to wake up to radio, CD, USB/MP3, or a standard alarm sound. Consult the remote control for specific alarm setup buttons (e.g., ALARM, TIMER).

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

3.2 CD Player Care

Handle CDs by their edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Clean CDs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.

3.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power cable and store the unit in a cool, dry place.
