Waterproof Usage (IPX7)

The JBL GO2 is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port and AUX-in port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water. This feature makes it suitable for use by the pool, at the beach, or in the shower.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the finish or internal components. Ensure the speaker is dry before charging.

Storage

Store the JBL GO2 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months to maintain battery health.

Battery Care

To maximize the lifespan of the integrated Lithium Polymer battery, avoid fully discharging it frequently. Regular charging and avoiding prolonged exposure to high temperatures will help preserve battery performance.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect it to a power source using the Micro USB cable.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device.
    • Ensure the speaker is properly paired via Bluetooth or connected via the audio cable.
    • If using Bluetooth, try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Issues:
    • Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED).
    • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (10 meters).
