5. Setup and Installation

- Prepare for Transformer: Install a low voltage transformer (AC or DC 12V-24V, not included) in a suitable outdoor location. Ensure the wattage of your transformer exceeds 20% of the total wattage of all connected lights.
- Dig Trench: Dig a shallow trench for the low voltage cable. Ensure the cable length does not exceed 33ft when using 12V.
- Connect Lights: Use the provided black waterproof wire connectors and insulation tape to splice each light to the low voltage cable. Strip the ends of the low voltage power cable and attach them to the transformer's terminal screws. Ensure the last light in the chain receives enough voltage to operate correctly.
- Secure Lights: Place the lights into the prepared holes or ground, ensuring they are flush with the surface for optimal performance and appearance.
