Unboxing and Components
Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before initial use, fully charge your BTR-BK adapter. A full charge takes less than 2 hours and provides up to 15 hours of battery life.
- Connect the micro-USB end of the charging cable to the USB port on the BTR-BK.
- Connect the standard USB end of the charging cable to a USB wall adapter or other USB charging source.
- The red light on the BTR-BK will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.
- For continuous use, the BTR-BK can remain plugged into a power source.

2. Powering On
Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the BTR-BK to the "ON" position.

3. Connecting to an Audio Device
The BTR-BK can connect to various wired audio devices:
- Wired Headphones: Plug your wired headphones directly into the 3.5mm audio port on the BTR-BK.
- Car Stereo or Speakers (3.5mm AUX): Use the included 3.5mm audio cable. Plug one end into the BTR-BK and the other into your car stereo's or speaker's AUX input. Ensure your audio device is set to AUX mode.
- Home Stereo or Receiver (RCA): Use the included RCA audio cable. Connect the 3.5mm end to the BTR-BK and the RCA ends (red and white) to the corresponding RCA input jacks on your home stereo or receiver. Ensure your audio device is set to the correct input.

4. Bluetooth Pairing
To stream audio, you need to pair the BTR-BK with your Bluetooth-enabled device (phone, tablet, etc.):
- With the BTR-BK powered on, press and hold the 'M' (Multi-function) button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
- On your phone or tablet, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Turn on Bluetooth if it's not already enabled.
- Scan for new devices and select "MEE audio BTR" from the list.
- Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on the BTR-BK will turn solid blue.
- The BTR-BK will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on. You only need to pair once with each new device.

Basic Controls
- Power On/Off: Use the slide switch on the side.

CinemaEAR Audio Enhancement
The BTR-BK features CinemaEAR audio enhancement technology with four distinct modes to optimize your listening experience for different content types.
- To activate CinemaEAR, tap the CinemaEAR button (the 'M' button).
- Tap the CinemaEAR button repeatedly to cycle through the following modes:
- Clear Voice Mode: Boosts speech clarity, making dialogue in movies and TV shows easier to hear over background sounds.
- Clear Voice Plus Mode: Provides an even greater improvement in speech clarity.
- Dynamic Music Mode: Enhances bass and treble response for a more lively and exciting music listening experience.
- Bass Boost Mode: Increases bass response and depth for more impactful and immersive audio with movies and music.
- To turn CinemaEAR off, press and hold the CinemaEAR button for 3 seconds.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
No Audio / Poor Audio Quality

- Confirm that your wired audio device (headphones, stereo) is functioning correctly.
- Adjust the volume on both the BTR-BK and your audio source device.
- If using with a home stereo or car stereo, ensure the correct input source (AUX, RCA) is selected.
Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device
- Ensure the BTR-BK is in pairing mode (LED flashing red and blue).
- Turn off and then on the Bluetooth function on your source device.
- Move the BTR-BK closer to your source device.
- If multiple Bluetooth devices are nearby, temporarily disable Bluetooth on other devices.
- Try restarting both the BTR-BK and your source device.
Short Battery Life
- Ensure the device is fully charged before use.
- Verify the charging cable and power adapter are working correctly.
- Battery performance may degrade over time with repeated charging cycles.
