Note: An input power adapter (12Vdc, more than 2A) is required and is NOT included in the packing list.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and connect your LCD screen and controller board:

  1. Connect the Converter Board: Attach the converter board to the main LCD Controller Board (VS-TY2662-V1).
  2. Connect the LVDS Cable: Carefully connect the LVDS cable to the 12.3 inch LQ123K1LG03 LCD Screen and the main Controller Board. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Connect the Keyboard: Attach the keyboard with its cable to the designated port on the Controller Board. This keyboard is used for navigating the OSD menu.
  4. Connect Power: Connect a 12Vdc power adapter (minimum 2A, not included) to the DC IN port on the Controller Board.
  5. Connect Video Input: Connect your video source (VGA, AV1, or AV2) to the corresponding port on the Controller Board.

5. Operating Instructions

  • OSD Menu: Use the buttons on the keyboard to navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. This menu allows adjustment of settings such as Brightness, Contrast, Auto-adjustment, Language, and more.
  • Video Input Selection: The board supports VGA, AV1, and AV2 video inputs. For reversing camera applications, the board supports automatically switching to AV2 when the ACC connector receives 12V.
  • Language Settings: The OSD menu supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your VSDISPLAY LCD screen, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and controller board. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Handle the LCD screen and circuit boards with care to avoid physical damage. Avoid touching the screen surface directly with bare hands.
  • Power Supply: Always use a stable 12Vdc power supply with a current rating of 2A or more. Using an incorrect power supply can damage the device.
