Setup Guide

Step 1: SIM Card Activation and Installation

A local SIM card with 2G (GSM) or 4G network functionality is required. Ensure the SIM card is activated and its PIN code is removed before installation. Confirm it can make calls, send texts, and has an internet connection by testing it in a mobile phone.

1. Purchase a local SIM card with 4G (LTE) network function. SpeedTalk SIM card is recommended. T-Mobile SIM cards are not compatible.
2. Install the new SIM card into your mobile phone to activate it and remove any PIN code.
3. Verify the SIM card can make calls, send texts, and access the internet.
4. Once confirmed, insert the SIM card into the ST-906L tracker.

Step 2: Powering On the Tracker

Charge the device for approximately 1 hour before initial use. The yellow and blue indicator lights will flash as the device searches for network and GPS signals. Allow about 5 minutes in an open area (e.g., near a window or outdoors) for both lights to become solid, indicating a stable connection. If the yellow light continues to flash, move the device to a location with better network reception.

The device has a built-in 180mAh backup battery and will charge when the engine starts, ensuring continuous operation.

Step 3: Setting APN for the Tracker

The Access Point Name (APN) settings are crucial for internet connectivity. Obtain your SIM card's APN details from your SIM card provider. Send the appropriate SMS command from another phone number to the tracker's SIM card number.

• If your SIM card's APN has no username and password:
  Send text command: 8030000 [space] APN
  Example: 8030000 everywhere (Tracker will reply "SET OK")
• If your SIM card's APN has a username and password:
  Send text command: 8030000 [space] APN [space] APN user [space] APN pass
  Example: 8030000 everywhere eesecure secure

Note: APN settings vary by SIM card provider. Adjust the command according to your specific APN details.

Step 4: Setting GPRS Mode

To enable GPRS mode for online tracking, send the following SMS command to the device:

7100000

Wait approximately 30 seconds. Both the blue and orange lights should remain ON, indicating that the device is now online and ready for tracking via the SinoTrack Pro web platform or mobile app.

To log in, use your tracker's ID number (found on the product) as the username and "123456" as the default password.

If the device is online but shows a China location, move it to an outdoor area with good signal reception to update its location.

If the device is not online, send the command RCONF to the device. The reply will show its current settings, allowing you to verify the APN, IP, and Port settings against the user manual.

Operating Instructions

Real-Time Tracking

The SinoTrack ST-906L provides real-time location tracking accessible via the SinoTrack Pro mobile application (iOS and Android) or the web platform. You can monitor the device's current location, speed, and status on Google Maps.

Alerts and Notifications

The tracker supports various alerts delivered via text message:

• Movement Alert: Notifies when the vehicle moves.
• SOS Alarm: Triggered by pressing the SOS button. Sends an SOS message to guardian numbers and the platform, and calls the guardian.
• Geo-fence Alert: Notifies when the vehicle enters or exits a predefined virtual zone.
• ACC Anti-theft Alarm: Alerts if the ACC (Accessory) ignition is tampered with.
• Speeding Alert: Notifies if the vehicle exceeds a set speed limit.
• Leaving Alert: Alerts when the vehicle leaves a specified area.
• Shocking Alert: Notifies if the device detects significant shock or vibration.
• Low Battery Alert: Informs when the internal backup battery is low.

Voice Monitor

The device features a voice monitor function. If you call the SIM number inserted in the tracker, it will automatically pick up the call, allowing you to listen to the sounds around the device.
