Setup Instructions
1. Install the Flexible Smartphone Clamp
The smartphone clamp is designed to securely hold phones with widths ranging from 54mm to 95mm. To install, gently pull apart the clamp and insert your smartphone. Ensure your phone is centered and securely held. The clamp features a 1/4 external port and a hot shoe mount for additional accessories.
2. Attach the Microphone
The CVM-VM10-K2 microphone features a cardioid directional pattern, designed to capture clear audio by minimizing background noise. Attach the microphone to the hot shoe mount on top of the smartphone clamp. The microphone includes a shock-absorption stand to reduce handling noise.
3. Connect to your Smartphone
Use the provided 3.5mm TRS-TRRS audio output cable to connect the microphone to your smartphone. One end of the cable (TRS) connects to the microphone, and the other end (TRRS) connects to your smartphone's 3.5mm audio jack. If your smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack (e.g., newer iPhones with Lightning or Type-C interfaces), you will need to purchase a separate 3.5mm to Lightning or 3.5mm to Type-C adapter.
4. Use the Adjustable Mini Tripod
The mini tripod can be used as a stable base for your smartphone or folded to act as a handheld grip. To adjust the angle of the smartphone kit, press the round button on the tripod before making adjustments. This prevents forced adjustments that could destabilize the tripod.
Operating the Kit
