1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Intex Above Ground Underwater LED Magnetic Pool Light. Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use.

2. Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when installing and using this electrical product. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Ensure the power source is disconnected before any installation or maintenance.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair the sealed light unit or external transmitter.
  • Keep the external power unit and transformer away from water and out of reach of children.
  • This product is designed for above-ground pools up to 24 feet in size.

4. Setup and Installation

The Intex Magnetic Pool Light uses magnetic induction to safely power the light unit through the pool wall. No wiring is required inside the pool.

4.1 Component Overview

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Separate the internal light unit from the external transmitter unit. They are held together magnetically.
  2. Place the internal light unit inside the pool, against the pool wall, at your desired location.
  3. Align the external transmitter unit on the outside of the pool wall, directly opposite the internal light unit. The strong magnets will hold them securely in place.
  4. Ensure the power cord from the external transmitter is routed safely away from the pool and connected to a suitable 110V AC outlet.

Important: If the internal light unit becomes separated from the external transmitter, it is designed to float to the surface for easy retrieval. The external power source is safe for use near water.

5. Operating Instructions

The light unit features multiple color modes for enhanced ambiance.

5.1 Powering On/Off and Changing Modes

  1. Plug the external transmitter's power cord into a 110V AC outlet.
  2. Press the power button on the external transmitter to turn the light on.
  3. Press the mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available color options: white, green, blue, and a color-changing mode.
  4. Press the power button again to turn the light off.

5.2 Nighttime Illumination

The powerful LED light effectively illuminates pools up to 24 feet, providing clear visibility and a vibrant atmosphere for evening swims.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your pool light.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the external transmitter unit with a damp cloth. The internal light unit can be cleaned with a soft brush or cloth while submerged.
  • Storage: During off-season or extended periods of non-use, disconnect the power, remove both units from the pool wall, clean them thoroughly, and store them in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use and replace the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

If your Intex Magnetic Pool Light is not functioning as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
