5. Setup and Installation
CAUTION: Ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify the well diameter is at least 3.5 inches to accommodate the 3-inch OD pump.
- Inspect the pump and control box for any visible damage.
- Confirm the power supply matches the pump's requirements (220-240V/50Hz).
5.2 Connecting the Discharge Pipe
Attach a suitable discharge pipe (steel pipe, hose, or plastic pipe) to the pump's 1-inch outlet. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection. The pump includes a built-in check valve, but an additional check valve can be installed in the discharge line if desired.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Initial Startup
- Ensure all connections are secure and the pump is properly submerged.
- Connect the control box to the appropriate power outlet.
- Switch on the power at the control box. The pump should start operating and water should begin to flow from the discharge pipe.
- Monitor the pump for the first few minutes to ensure proper operation and check for any unusual noises or vibrations.
6.2 Continuous Operation
The pump is designed for continuous operation within its specified parameters. Avoid operating the pump in conditions that exceed its maximum head or flow rate. Ensure a continuous water supply to prevent dry running.
6.3 Shutting Down
To turn off the pump, simply switch off the power at the control box. For extended periods of non-use, disconnect the control box from the power outlet.
7. Maintenance
WARNING: Always disconnect power to the pump before performing any maintenance.
7.1 Regular Checks
- Periodically check the water output for any decrease in flow or pressure, which may indicate a blockage or wear.
- Inspect the power cable for any signs of damage or wear.
- Ensure the control box is clean and free from moisture.
7.2 Cleaning the Intake Screen
If the pump's performance decreases, the intake screen may be clogged with sediment or debris. Carefully lift the pump from the well and clean the intake screen. Use a brush and water to remove any obstructions.
