Setup
1. Battery Installation
Vehicle Battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Mario Kart vehicle.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert the included LiFePo4 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the compartment cover securely.
Remote Control Batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert the 2x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the compartment cover securely.
2. Charging the Vehicle Battery
The vehicle battery requires charging before first use. A full charge takes approximately 80 minutes and provides up to 40 minutes of drive time.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the vehicle.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to vehicle specific light behavior in the original user guide if available).
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on the vehicle, locate the power switch (often on the underside or rear) and slide it to the "ON" position.
- To turn on the remote control, slide its power switch to the "ON" position.
- To turn off, reverse these steps.
2. Pairing the Remote Control
The vehicle and remote control should automatically pair when both are turned on. If pairing fails:
- Ensure both the vehicle and remote are turned off.
- Turn on the vehicle first, then the remote control.
- Wait a few seconds for them to establish a connection.
3. Driving the Vehicle
Use the joysticks/buttons on the remote control to maneuver the vehicle:
- Forward/Backward: Typically controlled by the left joystick (push up for forward, pull down for backward).
- Left/Right: Typically controlled by the right joystick (push left for left turn, push right for right turn).
- The vehicle features a differential gear, pneumatic tires, and full-spring suspension for enhanced control.
- The vehicle can reach speeds up to 13 mph.
4. Sound Feature
This model includes life-like racing sounds. Refer to the remote control or vehicle for a dedicated sound button, if available, to toggle this feature.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the vehicle. Avoid water or cleaning solutions that could damage electronics. The vehicle has a splash-proof body, but direct water exposure should be minimized.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove all batteries from both the vehicle and the remote control. Store the vehicle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Battery Care: Do not overcharge the LiFePo4 battery. If the vehicle will not be used for a long time, it is recommended to charge the battery partially (around 50%) before storage.
