4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your BUYSIGHT Rechargeable Spotlight. The device is equipped with a 9000mAh battery and supports charging via the included USB-C cable.

1. Locate the charging port on the device, typically protected by a rubber covering to ensure weatherproofing.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the spotlight's charging port.
3. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not always included, but a standard phone charger works) or a computer's USB port.
4. Allow the device to charge until the charging indicator light (if present) signals a full charge. This ensures optimal battery life and performance.

4.2 Attaching the Tripod (Optional)

For hands-free operation, you can attach a compatible tripod to the spotlight.

1. Locate the tripod mounting screw hole on the bottom of the spotlight.
2. Align the tripod's screw with the mounting hole and rotate clockwise until securely fastened.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Main Spotlight Operation

The main spotlight features three brightness modes:

• Strong Mode: Provides maximum illumination (1000 lumens) for long-range visibility.
• Weak Mode: A lower brightness setting for general use and extended battery life.
• SOS Mode: A flashing signal for emergency situations.

To cycle through modes, press the main light button (usually the larger trigger-style button). Press once for Strong, a second time for Weak, and a third time for SOS. Press again to turn off.

5.2 Side Light (Flood Work Light) Operation

The side light offers versatile illumination for close-range tasks and includes a warning function:

• White Light: Provides broad illumination for camping, work, or general area lighting.
• Red & Blue Warning Light: Flashing red and blue lights for emergency signaling in low visibility conditions like fog or haze.

To activate the side light, press the dedicated side light button (usually a smaller button near the main trigger). Subsequent presses will cycle through white light, red & blue warning light, and off.

5.3 Power Bank Function

The spotlight can serve as an emergency portable power supply for your smart devices.

1. Locate the USB output port, typically under a protective rubber flap.
2. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB output port on the spotlight.
3. The spotlight will begin charging your device.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the spotlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or internal components.

6.2 Storage

Store the spotlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.

6.3 Battery Care

The built-in battery is designed for approximately 1000 charge cycles. To maximize battery lifespan, avoid fully discharging the unit frequently and recharge it promptly when the battery is low.

7. Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the spotlight to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on again.
• Dim light or short battery life: The battery may not be fully charged, or it might be nearing the end of its lifespan. Fully charge the device. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Device not charging: Check the USB-C cable and power adapter for damage. Try using a different cable or adapter. Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
