Operating Instructions (Gameplay)
The game proceeds in turns, with players rolling dice and moving their tokens around the board. The objective is to acquire properties (planets and droids), build TIE Fighters and X-Wings on them, and collect rent from other players who land on your properties, ultimately driving them into bankruptcy.
Player Turn Sequence:
- Roll Dice: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise the number of spaces indicated.
- Action Based on Space:
- Unowned Property: You may buy the property from the Bank for the price printed on the board. If you choose not to buy it, the Banker immediately auctions it to the highest bidder.
- Owned Property: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent as indicated on the Title Deed card.
- Jedi Training or Holocron: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
- Go to Jail: Move your token directly to the "Jail" space. Your turn ends.
- Light Speed Space: Landing on a Light Speed space allows players to advance quickly around the board. Refer to the Game Guide for specific rules.
- Free Parking, Just Visiting, Go: These spaces have specific rules detailed in the Game Guide.
- Building: If you own all properties in a color group, you can begin building TIE Fighters on them. Once you have four TIE Fighters on each property in a group, you can upgrade to an X-Wing. Building increases the rent collected.
- Trading: Players can trade properties, TIE Fighters, X-Wings, and credits with each other at any time.
- Bankruptcy: If a player owes more credits than they can pay, they go bankrupt and are out of the game. All their properties and assets are turned over to the player they owe, or to the Bank if they owe the Bank.
The game continues until only one player remains, who is then declared the winner.
Maintenance
- Storage: Store the game components in their original box in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage.
- Cleaning: Wipe the game board and plastic components with a soft, dry cloth if needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Handling: Handle cards and cardboard credits with care to prevent bending or tearing.
- Missing Pieces: In case of missing components, refer to the manufacturer's support information.
