Note: For continuous backlight, connect an optional 4.5V power adapter (not included) to the main unit.
2. Initial Synchronization
Once batteries are installed in both units, place the outdoor sensor near the main unit.
The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. This may take a few minutes.
Once connected, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display.
3. DCF Radio Clock Reception
After initial power-up, the main unit will automatically attempt to receive the DCF radio signal for time synchronization. This process can take several minutes to hours, depending on location and interference.
A radio tower icon on the display indicates successful DCF signal reception.
If the signal is not received, try moving the unit to a different location, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

4. Outdoor Sensor Placement
Mount the outdoor sensor in a sheltered location, away from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate readings.
Ensure the sensor is within the effective transmission range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open areas).
Avoid placing the sensor near large metal objects or other electronic devices that could interfere with the signal.

Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
No display / Display dim
Low or incorrectly inserted batteries; no power adapter connected for continuous backlight.
Check battery polarity and replace if necessary. Connect a 4.5V power adapter for continuous backlight.
Outdoor temperature/humidity not displayed
Outdoor sensor out of range; interference; low sensor batteries; sensor not synchronized.
Move sensor closer to main unit. Replace sensor batteries. Re-synchronize by removing and reinserting batteries in both units. Avoid interference sources.
Incorrect time / DCF icon not shown
Poor DCF signal reception; interference.
Move the main unit to a location with better reception (e.g., near a window, away from electronics). Allow several hours for signal acquisition. Manually set time if necessary.
Weather forecast inaccurate
Forecast is an estimation based on pressure changes, not always precise for immediate conditions.
This is normal. The forecast provides a general trend.
