Initial Connection
- Connect the EZCast PRO II Dongle to an available HDMI port on your display device (TV, projector, monitor).
- Connect the USB power cable to the micro USB port on the dongle and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., TV's USB port, USB wall adapter). Ensure the power source provides sufficient power (e.g., 5V/1A).
- Power on your display device and select the correct HDMI input source.
- The EZCast PRO II setup screen should appear on your display.
Network Configuration
To enable wireless mirroring and access advanced features, connect the dongle to your Wi-Fi network.
- On the EZCast PRO II setup screen, locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password for the dongle's own Wi-Fi hotspot.
- On your mobile device or computer, connect to the dongle's Wi-Fi network.
- Open a web browser and navigate to the IP address displayed on the EZCast PRO II setup screen (e.g., 192.168.203.1). This will open the dongle's web configuration page.
- On the configuration page, select "Internet" or "Wi-Fi Setup" and choose your home/office Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter the password for your network and confirm.
- Once connected, the dongle will display its new IP address on your network. Your device can now connect to the dongle via your main Wi-Fi network.

Supported Mirroring Protocols
The EZCast PRO II Dongle supports various mirroring protocols for different operating systems:
- Miracast: For Android 5.0+ and Windows 7.0+ devices.
- AirPlay Mirroring: For iOS 10+ devices.
- EZCast Mirror: For Android 5.0+, Windows 7.0+, macOS 10.11+, and Chrome OS. Requires the EZCast Pro app.

Using the EZCast Pro App
The EZCast Pro app provides enhanced features and control. Download it from your device's app store or the official EZCast website.
- ProCast App: Enables one-to-many broadcasting, allowing content to be streamed to multiple dongles simultaneously.
- Audio/Video Sync: Automatic synchronization with independent control over audio and video streams.
- Multi-PC Broadcasting: Supports simultaneous broadcasting to up to 8 Windows/Mac PCs.
Split-Screen Display
The dongle supports a 4-to-1 split-screen display, allowing content from up to four devices to be shown on a single screen simultaneously. This feature requires one EZCast PRO II Dongle per device.

The app also provides content broadcast viewer and host control functionalities.
One-to-Many Screens Mirroring
The EZCast PRO II Dongle can mirror content from one source device to multiple display screens, supporting up to 8 devices over a distance of up to 30 meters. Performance may vary based on the computer and Wi-Fi environment.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
No Display on Screen
- Ensure the dongle is securely connected to the HDMI port.
- Verify that the USB power cable is connected and the dongle is receiving sufficient power. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
- Check if your display device is set to the correct HDMI input source.
- Try restarting the dongle by unplugging and re-plugging the power cable.
Unstable Connection or Lag
- Ensure the dongle is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- If using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, try switching to 5GHz Wi-Fi if your router and devices support it, as 5GHz offers higher speed and less interference. The dongle supports 802.11ac 5GHz WiFi with 2T2R MIMO.
- Update the dongle's firmware via OTA upgrade.
- Reduce the distance between the source device and the dongle.
