Setup Guide

1. Installation

Important Safety Note: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning any wiring work.

1. Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
2. Remove your existing curtain switch.
3. Connect the MOES Smart Curtain Switch according to the wiring diagram provided in the product packaging. A neutral wire is required for operation.
4. Secure the switch into the wall box.
5. Attach the glass panel.
6. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

2. App Pairing

The MOES Smart Curtain Switch uses the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app for configuration and remote control. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.

1. Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Open the app and tap '+' to add a new device.
4. Select 'Curtain Switch' from the device list.
5. Follow the in-app instructions to put the switch into pairing mode (usually by pressing and holding a button until the indicator light blinks rapidly).
6. Confirm the indicator status in the app and enter your Wi-Fi credentials.
7. The app will automatically discover and connect to the switch. Once connected, you can rename the device.

3. Voice Control

1. Ensure your switch is successfully paired with the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app.
2. Open the Alexa or Google Home app.
3. Enable the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' skill/service.
4. Link your Smart Life/Tuya Smart account.
5. Discover devices. Your curtain switch should appear.
6. You can now use voice commands such as:
   • "Alexa, open the living room curtains."
   • "Hey Google, close the bedroom blinds."
   • "Alexa, pause the kitchen shutter."

Troubleshooting

• Cannot Pair with App: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Move closer to the router during pairing. Reset the switch to factory settings (refer to the specific reset procedure in the app or included manual) and try pairing again.
