Setup Guide

1. Connecting the Hub

Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the TOTU 13-in-1 Hub to the USB-C port on your laptop or compatible device. Ensure the connection is secure.

2. Power Delivery (PD) Charging

To charge your laptop through the hub, connect your laptop's original USB-C power adapter to the PD3.0 charging port on the hub. The hub supports up to 100W power delivery, allowing simultaneous charging and peripheral use.

3. Data Transfer

Utilize the two USB 3.0 ports for high-speed data transfer (up to 5 Gbps) with external hard drives, USB flash drives, or other USB 3.0 compatible devices. The two USB 2.0 ports are suitable for connecting peripherals like keyboards, mice, or older USB devices (up to 480Mbps).

Operating Instructions: Display Setup

Windows System Display Configuration

The TOTU 13-in-1 Hub supports triple display output on Windows systems via its two HDMI ports and one VGA port. You can configure your displays for mirroring or extending your desktop.

To configure display settings:

  1. Connect your external monitors to the HDMI and/or VGA ports on the hub.
  2. Press the Windows key + P on your keyboard to open the Project menu.
  3. Select your desired display mode:
    • Duplicate: Shows the same content on all connected displays.
    • Extend: Expands your desktop across all connected displays, allowing for more workspace.
    • Second screen only: Displays content only on the external monitor(s), with the laptop screen turned off.
  4. For advanced settings, right-click on your desktop and select Display settings or open Intel UHD Graphics Control Panel (if applicable) to arrange displays, change resolutions, and set primary monitors.

Mac OS System Display Configuration

Mac OS systems do not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST), meaning you cannot extend your desktop to three independent external displays simultaneously. However, you can still use mirror mode or extend your desktop to two external displays while mirroring the third or having a unique display on your laptop.

To configure display settings on Mac OS:

  1. Connect your external monitors to the HDMI and/or VGA ports on the hub.
  2. Go to System Preferences > Displays.
  3. In the Arrangement tab, you can drag the display icons to arrange them as desired.
  4. Check the Mirror Displays box for mirror mode, or uncheck it for extended desktop.
  5. For extension display, do not click the Mirror displays in "setting".
