4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  1. Carefully unpack all components from the shipping crate.

4.2 Assembly

  1. Position the main lift assembly on a clean, level, and stable concrete surface.
  2. Connect the hydraulic hoses from the power unit to the lift's hydraulic cylinders. Ensure all connections are tight and free of leaks.
  3. Fill the power unit reservoir with appropriate hydraulic fluid (not included). Consult the power unit manual for fluid specifications and capacity.
  4. Connect the 110V power unit to a dedicated electrical outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the required amperage.
  5. Attach the adjustable screw pads to the lift arms.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Lifting a Vehicle

  1. Position the vehicle centrally over the lift, ensuring the lift arms can be extended to reach the vehicle's designated lifting points.
  2. Adjust the lift arms and screw pads to securely contact the vehicle's frame or pinch welds. Use the truck adapters if additional height is needed.
  3. Ensure the area around the lift is clear of obstructions and personnel.
  4. Press and hold the 'UP' button on the power unit to raise the lift. Monitor the vehicle's stability as it rises.
  5. Raise the lift to the desired working height.
  6. Once at the desired height, lower the lift slightly onto the mechanical safety locks. Ensure both sides are securely engaged.
  7. Before working under the vehicle, gently shake the vehicle to confirm it is stable and securely resting on the safety locks.

5.2 Lowering a Vehicle

  1. Ensure all tools and personnel are clear from under and around the vehicle.
  2. Slightly raise the lift by pressing the 'UP' button to disengage the safety locks.
  3. Pull the safety lock release handle(s) to disengage the mechanical locks.
  4. Slowly open the hydraulic release valve on the power unit to lower the lift. Control the descent speed carefully.
  5. Once the lift is fully lowered, retract the arms and carefully drive the vehicle off the lift.
