1. Product Overview

The Elmchee Rechargeable 8-LED Headlamp is designed for various outdoor activities, providing powerful illumination with multiple lighting modes and convenient features. 3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Battery Installation

The headlamp uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. If not pre-installed, open the battery compartment located at the rear of the headlamp. Insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment. Close the compartment securely.

3.2 Adjusting the Headband

The headlamp features an adjustable elastic headband for a comfortable and secure fit. Adjust the straps to fit your head size. The headlamp can also be worn over a hard hat.

3.3 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headlamp. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the headlamp's charging port and to a USB power source. The battery indicator light will change from red to green when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours and provides up to 10 hours of continuous lighting.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power Button (Key Mode Button)

  • Short Press: Press the key mode button to cycle through the main lighting modes.
  • Long Press (3 seconds): Hold the key mode button for 3 seconds to turn off the light directly from any mode, without cycling through all modes.

4.2 Motion Sensor Mode

The headlamp features a motion sensor function for hands-free operation. Press the dedicated sensor mode button to activate or deactivate this feature. Once activated, you can turn the lights ON/OFF by simply waving your hand in front of the headlamp.

4.3 Light Modes

The headlamp offers 16 different working modes, including various brightness levels and specialized lights. The primary modes are:

  • Main Beam: Utilizes the central LEDs for focused illumination.
  • Side Beam: Activates the side LEDs for wider area lighting.
  • All Bright: Combines all LEDs for maximum brightness.
  • SOS Strobe: Flashing mode for emergency signaling.
  • Strong Beam: A high-intensity beam setting.
  • Standard Beam: A balanced beam for general use.
  • Red Beam: Provides red light, useful for preserving night vision.
  • SOS Red Strobe: Flashing red light for warning or emergencies.

4.4 Red Light Warning

The headlamp includes a red light warning feature on the rear battery pack. This light has two modes: full brightness and flashing. It can be used for safety during nighttime travel or in emergency situations to alert others to your presence.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

5.2 Water Resistance

The Elmchee headlamp has an IPX4 waterproof rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for use in rain or snow but should not be submerged in water.

5.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, recharge the headlamp regularly, especially if it has been stored for an extended period. Avoid completely draining the batteries before recharging.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Light Not Turning On

  • Ensure the batteries are correctly installed with the proper polarity.
  • Check if the batteries are charged. Connect the headlamp to a power source using the USB cable.
  • Verify that the power button is being pressed correctly (short press for modes, long press to turn off).

6.2 Light Flickering

  • A flickering light may indicate low battery power. Recharge the headlamp fully.
