1. Introduction

The IMC Toys Baby Wow-Alice is an interactive doll designed to learn and speak in stages, mimicking a real baby's language development. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Baby Wow-Alice doll.

3. Setup and Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the doll.
2. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 4 x LR6 AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
5. Turn the doll ON using the power switch, usually located on the back or bottom of the doll.

Baby Wow-Alice learns to speak in 3 progressive stages. Initially, she will repeat simple words. As the child interacts more with her, she will advance to saying complete phrases. The more interaction she receives, the faster her language development will progress.

• Stage 1: Repeats simple words (e.g., "Hello," "Mommy").
• Stage 2: Begins to form short sentences.
• Stage 3: Speaks complete phrases and responds to more complex commands.

Alice can learn up to 150 words and phrases and responds to 20 voice commands.

4.2 Interacting with the Mobile Phone

Alice comes with a toy mobile phone. To activate her phone interaction, bring the mobile phone close to her left ear. She will respond with various phrases, simulating a phone conversation.

4.3 Voice Commands and Responses

Speak clearly to Alice. She will respond to various voice commands. Experiment with different phrases to discover all her responses. Her head and lips move realistically as she speaks.

Example interactions:

• Say "Hello" or "Coo-coo" (French for peek-a-boo).
• Ask her questions.
• Give her a "Kiss" command.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe the doll's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the doll in water.

• Doll not responding:
  • Ensure the power switch is in the ON position.
