Setup and Installation

This unit has 16 different code combinations. To set the code, perform these steps:

NOTE: When installing the remote control, be sure your fan is operated in "HIGH SPEED" and light is in "ON" condition at the switch knob.

1. Setting the code on the remote (Transmitter):

Remove the battery cover. Press firmly below the arrow and slide battery cover off.
Slide the code switches to your choice of up or down position (factory setting is all up). Do not use this position. Use a small screwdriver or a ballpoint pen to slide firmly up or down (Fig. A).
Replace the battery cover on the transmitter.

2. Setting the code on the receiver:

Slide the code switches to the same positions as set on your transmitter (Fig. B).

NOTE: The remote and receiver depicted in images may look different than your actual product, but the dip switch setting principle remains the same.

Figure A illustrates the dip switches on the transmitter (remote). Figure B illustrates the dip switches on the receiver (inside the fan canopy). Ensure both sets of switches match.

Operating Instructions

Once the remote control and receiver codes are matched, you can operate your ceiling fan using the buttons on the remote:

HI: Sets the fan speed to High.
MED: Sets the fan speed to Medium.
LOW: Sets the fan speed to Low.
OFF: Turns the fan off.
REV: Reverses the direction of the fan blades (for seasonal use - clockwise for winter, counter-clockwise for summer).
Light Button (Green Oval): Toggles the light on/off. Press and hold to dim or brighten the light.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

When the remote control's range decreases or the indicator light dims, it's time to replace the 9V battery. To replace:

Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote.
Remove the old 9V battery.
Insert a new 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Replace the battery cover.

Cleaning:

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the remote in water.

Troubleshooting
