Setup and Installation

The EMKE Bathroom Radiator is designed for easy and flexible installation. It can be connected via a central connection or using the ends as water inlet/outlet. Valves are not included and must be purchased separately.

Installation Steps:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the wall is suitable to bear the weight of the radiator when filled with water. Turn off the main water supply to the heating system.
  2. Marking: Use the provided mounting kit and a spirit level to mark the drilling points on the wall according to the desired height and wall distance (90-105 mm from wall to outer surface).
  3. Drilling: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs.
  4. Mounting Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the wall using the long screws.
  5. Radiator Placement: Carefully lift the radiator and place it onto the mounted brackets. Ensure it is level and securely seated.
  6. Connecting Pipes: Connect the radiator to your central heating system pipes. The radiator supports both central and side connections. Use appropriate G 1/2 inch fittings. Ensure all connections are sealed properly to prevent leaks.
  7. Bleeding: Once connected and the system is refilled, bleed the radiator to remove any trapped air.
  8. Final Check: Turn on the heating system and check for any leaks around the connections.
