  • Ensure food items are clean and dry. For wet foods, consider pre-freezing or using a paper towel to absorb excess moisture near the seal area.
  • Place food into the pre-sealed bag, leaving at least 2-3 inches of space from the top edge for proper sealing.
  • For delicate items, you may need to adjust the vacuum level or use the 'Seal Only' function to prevent crushing.

  3. Select the appropriate mode on the control panel:
    • Vacuum & Seal: Automatically vacuums air from the bag and then seals it. This is the standard mode for most foods.
    • Seal Only: Seals the bag without vacuuming. Useful for creating custom bag lengths or sealing delicate items manually.
    • Adjustable Vacuum: Allows manual control over the vacuum process. Press and hold to vacuum, release to stop, then press 'Seal' to seal. Ideal for delicate foods like bread or chips.

6. Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.

  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Cleaning the Sealing Bar: After each use, allow the sealing bar to cool. Gently wipe it with a damp cloth to remove any food residue. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.
  • Cleaning the Vacuum Chamber: If any liquids or food particles enter the vacuum chamber, clean it immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  • Storage: Store the appliance in a clean, dry place. It is recommended to store the lid in the open position to prevent compression of the sealing gaskets.
