3.1 Unpacking

3.3 Water Supply Connection
Connect the hot and cold water inlet hoses to the corresponding valves on the wall and the back of the washer. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
3.4 Drain Hose Installation
Securely attach the drain hose to the drain outlet at the back of the washer and route it into a standpipe or laundry tub. Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked.
3.5 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
4. Operating Instructions
Your Samsung Top Load Washer offers a variety of cycles and options to meet your laundry needs.
4.1 Loading Laundry
Open the washer lid and load items loosely into the drum. Do not overload the washer, as this can affect washing performance and cause damage. For best results, distribute items evenly.

4.2 Adding Detergent and Additives
Your washer features dedicated dispensers for detergent, fabric softener, and liquid bleach.
- Detergent: Pour liquid or powder detergent into the detergent dispenser. For best results, use high-efficiency (HE) detergent.
- Fabric Softener: Pour liquid fabric softener into the fabric softener dispenser.
- Liquid Bleach: Pour liquid bleach into the bleach dispenser. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
4.3 Selecting a Wash Cycle
Turn the cycle selector knob to choose the desired wash cycle. Available cycles include:

4.4 Customizing Settings
After selecting a cycle, you can customize various settings using the touch buttons on the control panel:
- Temp: Adjust water temperature (Hot, Warm, Eco Warm, Cool, Cold).
- Rinse: Select number of rinses (1 to 5 times).
- Spin: Choose spin speed (No Spin, Light, Normal, High, Extra High).
- Soil: Set soil level (Light, Normal, Heavy, Extra Heavy).
- Water Level: Select water level (Low, Auto Level, Mid, High, Extra High).
- Deep Fill: Adds extra water to the wash cycle.
- Pre Soak: Adds a pre-soak phase to the cycle.
- Delay End: Set a delayed end time for the wash cycle.
- Super Speed: Reduces wash time for certain cycles.
- Smart Control: Enables remote control via the SmartThings app.

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the selected wash cycle. The lid will lock automatically during operation.

5.1 Self Clean Cycle
Use the Self Clean cycle periodically to remove detergent residue and bacteria from the washer drum. The washer will indicate when a Self Clean cycle is recommended.

5.3 Cleaning the Dispensers
Periodically remove and clean the detergent, softener, and bleach dispensers to prevent buildup.
