3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two (2) 1.5V AAA/R03/UM4 batteries (not included), ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.

3.2 Powering the Radio

  • Battery Power: Once batteries are installed, the radio is ready for portable use.
  • DC Power: For continuous use, connect a compatible DC power adapter (not included) to the DC input jack on the side of the radio.

Important: Ensure the DC adapter voltage and polarity match the radio's requirements to prevent damage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the (Power) button to turn the radio on.
  • Press the (Power) button again to turn the radio off.

4.2 FM Radio Tuning

  1. Manual Tuning: While the radio is on, press the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons briefly to adjust the frequency step by step.
  2. Automatic Search: Press and hold the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons for a few seconds. The radio will automatically scan and stop at the next strong station.

Extend the FM antenna fully for optimal reception.

4.3 Storing and Recalling Presets (20 FM Stations)

  1. To Store a Station:
    • Tune to your desired FM station using manual or automatic search.
    • Press and hold the "St./Mo." button until the preset number flashes on the display.
    • Use the -M or +M buttons to select the desired preset number (P01-P20).
    • Press the "St./Mo." button again to confirm and save the station.
  2. To Recall a Stored Station:
    • Briefly press the -M or +M buttons to cycle through your stored presets.

4.4 Setting the Alarm

  1. In standby mode (radio off), press and hold the Sn./ button. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press the Sn./ button again. The minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons to set the desired alarm minute.
  5. Press the Sn./ button a third time to select the alarm source (radio or buzzer). Use ◀◀ or ▶▶ to choose.
  6. Press the Sn./ button once more to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

4.5 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, briefly press the Sn./ button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for a few minutes and then sound again.

4.6 Sleep Timer
