2. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the Atmos canister and its lid from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, hand wash the canister and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow all components to air dry completely. Ensure no moisture remains before storing food items.

3. Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Canister: Place your desired dry food item, such as coffee beans, into the clean, dry canister. Do not overfill; leave sufficient space for the lid mechanism.
2. Creating the Vacuum Seal: Place the lid firmly onto the canister. Twist the lid back and forth repeatedly. As you twist, air will be removed from the canister. Continue twisting until the small green indicator dot on the lid is fully recessed and visible. This indicates a successful vacuum seal.
3. Releasing the Vacuum and Opening: To open the canister, press the button located in the center of the lid. You will hear a whoosh of air as the vacuum seal is released. Once the button pops up, you can easily remove the lid.

4. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: The Fellow Atmos canister is hand wash only. Do not place it in a dishwasher. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing food.
• Drying: Ensure all parts, especially the silicone ring and lid mechanism, are completely dry to prevent moisture buildup and maintain optimal sealing performance.
• Seal Longevity: The powerful silicone ring is designed for durability. However, frequent opening and closing may gradually affect the seal over time. If the vacuum seal appears to weaken, ensure the silicone ring is clean and properly seated.

5. Troubleshooting

• Vacuum Seal Not Engaging:
  • Ensure the lid is properly aligned and seated on the canister.
  • Check the silicone ring for any debris or damage that might prevent a tight seal. Clean if necessary.
  • Twist the lid more times. It may require up to 30 twists to fully evacuate air and engage the green indicator.
• Green Indicator Not Appearing:
  • This indicates that a full vacuum has not been achieved. Continue twisting the lid back and forth until the green dot is visible.
  • Verify that the canister is not overfilled, which could obstruct the vacuum mechanism.
• Lid Difficult to Remove After Pressing Button:
  • Ensure the button has fully popped up after pressing, indicating the vacuum has been released.
  • If the lid is still stuck, gently wiggle it while pulling upwards. Avoid excessive force.
