The T TOPVISION T6 Mini Projector is designed to deliver a high-definition home theater experience. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

Before setup, ensure all components are present:

2.2 Placement and Projection

Choose a suitable location for your projector. The projection size ranges from 40 to 300 inches, with the best experience at 120 inches from a distance of 3 meters. Ensure the projection surface is flat and clear.

  • Front Projection: Place the projector in front of the screen.
  • Rear Projection: Place the projector behind a translucent screen.
  • Ceiling Mount: The projector supports ceiling mounting for permanent installations.

2.3 Adjusting Projection Angle

The projector features an adjustable foot pad at the front to fine-tune the vertical projection angle.

  • Locate the adjustable foot pad on the bottom front of the projector.
  • Rotate or extend the foot pad to raise or lower the front of the projector, adjusting the image height on the screen.

2.4 Connecting Devices

The projector offers multiple input ports for various devices:

  • HDMI: Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles (PS4), laptops, TV boxes.
  • USB: Play media directly from USB drives.
  • VGA: Connect older computers or laptops.
  • AV: Connect DVD players or older video devices.
  • Micro SD: Insert a Micro SD card for media playback.
  • 3.5mm Audio Out: Connect external speakers or headphones.

Note: To connect smartphones or tablets, an additional 3-in-1 HDMI adapter cable compatible with your device is required. Due to application copyright, streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu can only be connected via a laptop, Chromecast, wireless dongle, TV stick, or Roku.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

  • Connect the power cable to the projector and a power outlet.
  • Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
  • To power off, press the power button again.

3.2 Adjusting Focus and Keystone

After powering on, adjust the image for clarity and shape:

  • Focus Ring: Rotate the focus ring near the lens until the image appears sharp and clear.
  • Keystone Correction: Use the keystone correction dial (if available) to correct trapezoidal distortion, ensuring the image is rectangular.

3.3 Selecting Input Source

Use the 'Source' button on the remote control or projector to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, USB, VGA, AV, Micro SD) until your desired device's content is displayed.

3.4 Audio Output

The projector is equipped with two built-in HiFi speakers. For enhanced audio, you can connect external speakers or a sound system via the 3.5mm audio output port.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Lens

Gently wipe the projector lens with a soft, lint-free cloth designed for optical surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive pressure, which can scratch the lens.

4.2 Cleaning Air Vents

Regularly clean the air vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust accumulation from the vents.

4.3 Lamp Life

The projector's LED lamp has a lifespan of approximately 120,000 hours, providing long-term use without frequent lamp replacement.

5. Troubleshooting

  • No Image/Signal:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the projector is powered on.
    • Verify that the correct input source is selected (HDMI, USB, VGA, AV, Micro SD).
    • Check the connection cables between the projector and the source device. Try a different cable if possible.
    • If connecting a smartphone/tablet, confirm you are using the required 3-in-1 HDMI adapter cable.
  • Blurry Image:
    • Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is clear.
    • Ensure the projection distance is within the recommended range (1m to 7m).
    • Correct any trapezoidal distortion using the keystone correction dial.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume settings on both the projector and the source device.
    • Ensure audio cables are properly connected if using external speakers.
    • Verify that the audio output from the source device is enabled.
  • Image Too Dark/Washed Out:
    • The projector is not recommended for use in bright rooms or for professional presentations. For best results, use in a dark environment.
    • Ensure the lens is clean and free of dust or smudges.
