Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.

2. Battery Backup Installation

For battery backup of time and alarm settings during power outages, install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.

3. Initial Time Setting

Upon first power-on or after a power reset without battery backup, the time display may flash. Refer to the "Setting Time" section under Operating Instructions to set the current time.

Operating Instructions

Setting Time

1. Press and hold the TIME SET button (usually indicated by a clock icon) on the top panel. The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press the TIME SET button again. The minute digits will flash.
4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the TIME SET button once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 / Alarm 2)

This unit supports two independent alarms.

1. Press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button (indicated by an alarm clock icon). The alarm hour digits will flash.
2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the respective ALARM button again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the respective ALARM button again to select the alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio). Use + or - to toggle.
6. Press the respective ALARM button once more to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

To turn off an active alarm, press the corresponding ALARM button. To disable an alarm completely, press the corresponding ALARM button until the alarm icon disappears from the display.

Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE / DIMMER button on the top panel to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.

Display Dimmer

Press the SNOOZE / DIMMER button (when no alarm is sounding) to cycle through different brightness levels of the digital display. This allows you to adjust the display intensity for comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions.

FM Radio Operation

1. Press the FM button to turn on the FM radio.
2. Press the PREV or NEXT buttons to manually tune the frequency.
3. Press and hold the PREV or NEXT buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
4. To save a station, press and hold the FM button. Use + or - to select a preset number, then press FM again to confirm.
5. To recall a saved station, short press the FM button to cycle through presets.
6. Adjust volume using the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons.

For optimal FM reception, ensure the antenna wire (if present, usually at the back) is fully extended and positioned for best signal.

Bluetooth Speaker Operation

1. Press the MODE button (or a dedicated Bluetooth button if available) to switch to Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BT" or a Bluetooth icon will flash.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "Homtime D1-White" (or similar name).
3. Select the device to pair. Once paired, the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing and remain solid.
4. You can now stream audio from your device to the Homtime D1-White.
5. Adjust volume using the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons on the unit or your connected device.

AUX-IN Operation

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX-IN port on the back of the unit.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
3. Press the MODE button to switch to AUX mode. The display may show "AUX".
4. Play audio from your external device. Adjust volume using the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons on the unit or your external device.

USB Charging Ports

The unit features two USB charging ports on the front (1 x 2.1A, 1 x 1.0A). These ports are designed to charge your mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, while the alarm clock is powered on. Simply connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the ports.

Sleep to Music Timer
