4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your NiSi V6 Filter Holder System:

1. Attach the Adapter Ring: The V6 system includes an 82mm main adapter ring. Screw this ring onto the front thread of your camera lens. If your lens has a different filter thread size (e.g., 67mm, 72mm, 77mm), use the appropriate step-up adapter ring provided in the kit.
2. Install the CPL: The Enhanced Landscape CPL is designed to fit directly into the main adapter ring. Align the CPL with the ring and gently twist to secure it. The CPL can be rotated independently using the knurled knobs on the side of the main adapter.
3. Mount the Filter Holder: Once the adapter ring and CPL are in place, align the V6 filter holder with the adapter ring. Gently push the holder onto the ring until it clicks securely into position.
4. Lock the Holder (Optional): The V6 holder features an anti-rotation locking pin. You can engage this pin to prevent the holder from rotating once you have achieved your desired composition.

1. Adjusting the CPL: After mounting the holder, rotate the integrated CPL by turning the small knurled knobs located on the side of the main adapter. Observe the effect through your camera's viewfinder or live view to achieve the desired polarization effect, such as reducing reflections or enhancing sky saturation.
2. Inserting Square Filters: Gently slide your 100mm square filters into the available slots on the holder. The new clip design ensures a smooth and secure fit. You can insert up to three filters.
3. Removing Square Filters: To remove a filter, gently pull it out from the slot. The improved clip design allows for easy removal without excessive force.
4. Rotating the Holder: The entire filter holder can be rotated 360 degrees to adjust the position of your square filters (e.g., graduated neutral density filters). Use the locking pin to secure the holder in your desired orientation.
