  1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the non-slip feet are securely positioned.
  2. Align the juicing chamber with the motor base and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place. You should hear a click or feel it secure.
  3. Insert the auger into the center of the juicing chamber.
  4. Place the sieve over the auger, ensuring it sits correctly within the juicing chamber.
  5. Attach the lid to the top of the juicing chamber, aligning the arrows or indicators, and rotate it clockwise until it locks securely.
  6. Position the juice container under the juice spout and the pulp container under the pulp spout.

Your Teesa TSA3228 Slow Juicer is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Ingredient Preparation

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • Remove any hard pits, seeds, or large stems (e.g., from peaches, plums, apples).
  • Cut ingredients into pieces small enough to fit into the feeding chute. For fibrous vegetables like celery, cut them into short lengths to prevent clogging.
  • Peel fruits with thick or inedible skins (e.g., oranges, pineapples, kiwis).

6.2. Juicing Process

  1. Ensure the anti-drip cap on the juice spout is closed if you wish to mix juices internally or prevent drips.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
  3. Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The auger will begin to rotate.
  4. Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the feeding chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide ingredients down. Do not force ingredients, as this can strain the motor.
  5. Juice will be dispensed from the juice spout into the juice container, and pulp will be expelled from the pulp spout into the pulp container.
  6. For continuous juicing, ensure the anti-drip cap is open.
  7. The maximum continuous operating time is 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, allow the juicer to rest for at least 30 minutes to prevent overheating.
  8. Once juicing is complete, turn the power switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the appliance.

6.3. Reverse Function

If ingredients become jammed or the juicer stops during operation, switch the power to the 'R' (Reverse) position for a few seconds. This will rotate the auger in the opposite direction to clear the blockage. After clearing, switch back to 'ON' to resume juicing. If the blockage persists, turn off the juicer, unplug it, and disassemble to clear the obstruction manually.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your juicer.

  1. Disassembly: After unplugging the juicer, rotate the lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Then, remove the sieve, auger, and juicing chamber from the motor base.
  2. Rinsing: Immediately rinse all removable parts (lid, pusher, juicing chamber, auger, sieve, containers) under running water to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  3. Cleaning Brush: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove stubborn pulp from the sieve and other components.
  4. Dishwasher Safe Parts: The majority of the removable parts are dishwasher safe. Refer to the product packaging or manufacturer's guidelines for specific dishwasher compatibility.
  5. Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  6. Drying: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembling or storing the juicer.
  7. Important: Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surfaces of the juicer.
