Installation
Before you begin: Turn OFF power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Ensure the power is completely off before proceeding.
Wiring Instructions:
- Identify Wires: Carefully identify the 'Hot' (Line), 'Load', '3-Way' (if applicable), '0-10V Dimming (+)', '0-10V Dimming (-)', and 'Grounding' wires from your electrical box.
- Connect Wires: Use the provided wire nuts to connect the dimmer switch wires to your household wires according to the diagrams below.
- Hot (Line): Connect to the black wire from the circuit breaker.
- Load: Connect to the black wire going to the light fixture.
- 3-Way (Traveler): For 3-way applications, connect to the traveler wire from the other 3-way switch. (Not used in single-pole setup).
- 0-10V Dimming (+): Connect to the positive dimming control wire from your dimmable fixture/driver.
- 0-10V Dimming (-): Connect to the negative dimming control wire from your dimmable fixture/driver.
- Grounding: Connect to the bare copper or green ground wire from your electrical box.
- Mount Switch: Gently push the wired switch into the wall box. Secure it with the provided mounting screws.
- Install Wall Plate: Attach the wall plate over the switch.
- Restore Power: Turn ON power at the circuit breaker.

For 3-way installations, refer to the detailed instructions provided in the package for specific wiring configurations involving two switches controlling one light fixture.
Operating Instructions
The Allsmartlife 0-10V Dimmer Switch features a large rocker paddle for on/off control and a discreet slider for dimming adjustment.
- Turn ON/OFF: Press the top or bottom of the large rocker paddle to turn the lights on or off.
- Dimming: Use the small slider on the right side of the paddle to adjust the brightness level. Slide it up for brighter light and down for dimmer light.

Compatibility
This dimmer switch is compatible with a wide range of dimmable lighting types:
- Dimmable LED bulbs (up to 150 Watts)
- Dimmable CFL bulbs (up to 150 Watts)
- Incandescent bulbs (up to 600 Watts)
- Halogen bulbs (up to 600 Watts)
Ensure your bulbs are explicitly labeled as "dimmable" for optimal performance and to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting
- Lights do not turn ON:
- Check that power is ON at the circuit breaker.
- Verify all wire connections are secure.
- Ensure bulbs are properly installed and not burnt out.
- Lights do not dim or flicker:
- Confirm that your bulbs are dimmable and compatible with 0-10V dimming technology.
- Check the wattage of your bulbs to ensure they do not exceed the dimmer's maximum capacity (150W for LED/CFL, 600W for Incandescent/Halogen).
- Verify the 0-10V dimming control wires are correctly connected to the fixture's driver.
- Dimmer switch is warm to the touch:
- It is normal for dimmers to feel warm during operation. If it feels excessively hot, turn off power and consult an electrician.
Maintenance
To clean your dimmer switch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.
