  • Clean the Dash Cam lens and screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
  • Ensure the windscreen area where the mount is attached is clean for optimal adhesion.

4. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter.

  • Dash Cam not powering on: Check the power cable connection to both the Dash Cam mount and the vehicle's 12V socket. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
  • Recording issues (e.g., not recording, corrupted files): Format the Micro SD card. Ensure you are using a compatible and genuine Micro SD card. Try a different SD card if problems persist.
  • GPS signal loss: Ensure the Dash Cam has a clear view of the sky. Avoid placing it behind tinted areas of the windscreen that might block GPS signals.
  • App connectivity problems: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone. Restart both the Dash Cam and the MyNextbase Connect app.
