2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your MINISFORUM N40 Mini PC.

2.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:

2.2 Connecting Peripherals

Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Mini PC.

  1. Connect Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your monitor or TV to the HDMI port on the Mini PC. Alternatively, use a VGA cable for the VGA port. The device supports dual display output.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the power button on the front of the device.
  • Power Off: Click the Windows Start button, then select "Power" > "Shut down". Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown (use only when necessary).
  • Automatic Power On: The device supports automatic power-on after an unexpected shutdown, which can be configured in the BIOS settings.

3.2 Network Connectivity

  • Wi-Fi: The Mini PC supports dual-band 2.4G/5.8G Wi-Fi. To connect, click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray, select your network, enter the password, and click "Connect".
