5. Operating the Pool and Accessories

5.1 Filter Pump Operation

The Krystal Clear™ C1500 Cartridge Filter Pump features Hydro Aeration Technology for improved water quality.

  • Plug in the pump to a GFCI-protected outlet. The pump has an energy-saving timer built into the GFCI.
  • Allow the pump to run for 2-12 hour cycles daily for optimal filtration.
  • Hydro Aeration Technology injects air into the water, accelerating circulation and improving clarity by joining fine particles into larger clusters for better filtration. This also increases negative ions for improved air quality around the pool.

  • Both loungers and the cooler include cup holders for convenience.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and cleanliness of your pool.

6.1 Water Chemistry

  • Test pool water regularly for pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.

  • Turn off and unplug the filter pump before cleaning.
  • Remove the filter cartridge and rinse it thoroughly with a garden hose.

  • Brush the pool walls and floor weekly to prevent algae buildup.
  • Vacuum the pool floor as needed.
  • Use the included pool cover when the pool is not in use to keep out debris and reduce evaporation.
