3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the demolition hammer and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Do not operate the tool if any damage is observed.

3.2 Chisel Installation (SDS-MAX)

1. Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
2. Clean the shank of the chisel and apply a thin layer of grease (not included) to prevent wear.
3. Pull back the chuck collar and insert the chisel into the chuck until it clicks into place.
4. Release the chuck collar. Pull on the chisel to ensure it is securely locked. A slight axial play is normal for SDS-MAX systems.
5. To remove the chisel, pull back the chuck collar and pull the chisel out.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the power cord to a standard 220V AC power outlet. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and protected by a residual current device (RCD) for added safety.

4.1 Starting and Stopping

• To start the tool, press the ON/OFF switch.
