Setup
Battery Installation
This tool is sold without a battery or charger. For optimal performance, use a Bauer 3.0 Ah battery, model 1702C-B.
- Ensure the battery pack is fully charged before first use.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool's base.
- Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery pack out.
Socket Attachment
- Ensure the tool is off and the battery is removed before attaching or removing sockets.
- Push the desired 1/2 inch drive socket firmly onto the anvil until the hog ring secures it.
- To remove, pull the socket off the anvil with a firm tug.
Operating Instructions
Starting and Stopping
- To start the tool, depress the variable speed trigger. The LED light will illuminate when the trigger is pressed.
- To stop the tool, release the variable speed trigger.
Controlling Speed and Torque
The variable speed trigger allows for precise control. The further the trigger is depressed, the higher the speed and torque output.
Forward/Reverse Operation
- To set the tool for forward rotation (tightening), push the forward/reverse switch to the left.
- To set the tool for reverse rotation (loosening), push the forward/reverse switch to the right.
- To lock the trigger (prevent accidental starting), place the switch in the center position.
Using the LED Light
The integrated LED light automatically activates when the trigger is pressed, providing illumination for the work area, especially useful in dimly lit conditions.
Maintenance
