3. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, please verify that all the following items are included:

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Ultimaxx tripod:

  1. Unpack the Tripod: Carefully remove the tripod from its carrying bag and unfold the legs.
  2. Extend the Legs: Loosen the leg locks on each section of the tripod legs. Extend the legs to the desired height, then firmly close the leg locks to secure them. Ensure all leg sections are evenly extended for optimal stability.
  3. Adjust Center Pole: If additional height is needed, rotate the crank handle on the side of the center column to raise the center pole. Secure it by tightening the locking knob.
  4. Level the Tripod: Use the built-in bubble level indicator on the tripod head to ensure the tripod is perfectly level. Adjust the leg lengths as necessary.
  5. Attach Your Device:
    • Locate the quick-release plate on the tripod head.
    • Press the release lever or button to detach the quick-release plate.
    • Screw the quick-release plate onto the tripod mount thread at the bottom of your camera or camcorder. Ensure it is securely fastened.
    • Slide the quick-release plate with your device back into the tripod head until it clicks securely into place.

5. Operating Instructions

Once your device is securely mounted, you can begin operating the tripod:

  1. Adjusting Pan and Tilt:
    • Loosen the pan handle lock to allow horizontal (pan) movement.
    • Loosen the tilt lock knob to allow vertical (tilt) movement.
    • Adjust your camera to the desired angle, then tighten the respective locks to secure its position.
  2. Using the Center Pole: The adjustable center pole can be raised or lowered using the crank handle for fine-tuning the height without adjusting the legs. Ensure the center pole locking knob is tightened after adjustment.
  3. Low Angle Shooting: The fully adjustable locking legs allow for spreading the legs wide to achieve very low shooting angles. Ensure the leg locks are securely fastened in these positions.

6. Maintenance
